How will it work?

Accelerate ME funding works on a reimbursement basis, we will not be wiring large sums of funding straigth into your personal accounts.

Using our Google Form System you will request reimbursements with proof of spending, within 2 weeks you will be reimbursed the full cost of your purchase (within the below limits), if you need the repayment expedited you can message Kiran directly.

After your first finance assignment has been reviewed by the Accelerate ME Team you will be able to 'unlock' the first £500 for you to spend after the 2nd weekend. At which time we will be albe to start expensing.

Upon attending the 3rd weekend and completing any necessary tasks you will unlock the next £500. This process will repeat on the 4th weekend, by which point you could have unlocked £1,500.

The final £500 is only able to be released at our Dragons Den Event - before Demo Day. This is shared amongst the presenting teams and allocated by a group of judges. In your pitches you must explain what you intend to spend this final funding on.

Process

• Once the money is unlocked, every team can spend up to £100 at a time freely by using the Expenses Google Form
• If teams spend more than £100 on any one purchase (or series of purchases) they will need to get the approval of an AME team member (PoC or Kiran)
• You can only unlock £500 at a time at the end of weekend 2, 3 & 4 through attendance, completion of extra work and engaging with the programme activities
• The final £500 is given based on a spending proposal at Dragon's Den

• After the first session you will recieve an assignment requiring you to outline your financial strategy. Simply put, you will explain how you are going to spend the intial £1,500 over the programme timeline.
• This funding is not your 'personal allowance' you should not request it as such.
