During your time on the Accelerate ME Programme we would like to support you in the process of building your teams. So we created the Fellowship Programme - Jobs Board, a one-stop-shop platform for talented people in Manchester looking to work with amazing startups on AME.
Over the past six programmes we have noticed that starting up is already hard enough without having to continuously find talent, interview, recruit and onboard onto your teams. This is one of the most important steps for early founders to take and we want to make it as seamless as possible.
The Fellowship Programme & Jobs Board brings all the candidates into one place for the startups, to make it easier for everyone involved. We help you advertise, recruit and onboard people onto your projects.
In all transparency Cohort 6 will be the first time we are trying this solution, but we have worked really hard to ensure it is a worthwhile experience for you as founders and the interesting new talent that will be joining your teams 🤞
Create Jobs Descriptions
Startups can upload a maximum of 3 roles at a time, we recommend you assign them into categories: tech/developers, marketing/business and designers. However, if you need a more specific role that's okay too - just talk to us first. Remember to personalize this and share your startup's values.

Create Application Form
You can choose to make a general application form and have one question outlining which role you wish for the applicants to specifically apply for, alternatively, you can create specific application forms for each role you are advertising. We recommend using Google Form.

Talk to AME Team
Once you have completed the Job Description and Application Form get your PoC/ Project Manager of the Fellowship Programme to give you feedback, then update your work.
Advertise Roles
Accelerate ME will do everything we can to share and advertise the roles available at each of your startups. But it is also your responsibility to share the page with your networks and on your social media to drive traffic for all of the teams. If you want some help with this please reach out to our head of marketing - please keep in mind there are lots of startups in the cohort.

Track Applications and Hold Interviews
As applications come in on a rolling basis we would recommend you communicate with your applicants transparently about the process and timeline you are working towards. If you want to have an interview with a prospective applicant go for it, but make sure you have some type of process in place. If you wish you have more than one interview, a technical interview or some other form of assessment this will all be up to you. We have some documents below to support you with this:
